Various sand composites can be milled by HSM-MODAL®. Within this context, the consistency and cohesiveness of the sand composite are crucial factors. If the sand composite is sufficiently consistent and cohesive, the milling of this material does not pose any problems.
Based on existing experiences, the milling of following sand composites can be conducted offhand:
sand with furan resin
sand with water glass
